3.Connect the Electric Side Step with electricity, there are two ways to be connected with electricity, fuse electricity acquiring and battery electricity acquiring. There is no difference between the two electricity acquiring methods.

5.Check the cable deployment method according to the manual. There are currently two methods of cable deployment on the market. 3. Installation of the Mechanic Part

1. If the car has an original chassis rubber protection cover, you need to remove the rubber cover to install the electric side step. The car original reserved holes are behind the rubber cover. For Volvo XC90 it is necessary to remove the original chassis shield.

2. Install the electric side step bracket. When installing the electric side step bracket, remember not to tighten max the bracket screws first (will adjust the screws for balance adjustment).

3. Connect the bracket and panel with screws, do not tighten max the screws, get the electric side step connected with electricity, open and close the door 3-4 times, adjust the electric side step to the same horizontal line, now tighten max the panel screws and brackets’ screws

4. Use a U-shape washers to adjust the gap between car body and the panel. Note that some models need to adjust the gap between the panel and the skirt, and some models do not. This is related to the way the workers skill.
